Lynn H Roberts  A journalist, publisher and linguist, Lynn built a global translation business which she sold in 2019. The firm translated and adapted breaking news copy in 43 languages operating 24/7/365 for over two decades and was referred to by its clients as the fastest, most responsive, and accurate language service in the industry.




Frederick Marx  Ever since my father’s career in the US Air Force moved me and my family to Italy I’ve been fascinated with language, culture, travel, and adventure. Today, I’m fortunate to lead Keylingo – a Language Services Provider (LSP) based in Atlanta, GA that I founded in my basement in 2004. Our people and our work touch every continent, except Antarctica. In summary, the services we provide – translation, localization, and interpretation to name a few – enable companies to grow and succeed in the global marketplace. We’ve developed expertise in manufacturing, e-learning, software, websites, intellectual property, marketing, healthcare, education, media, and government.  We have been approached by multiple buyers and gone through the sales process in detail.


Fabiano Cid, COO of OXO Innovation, is a Brazilian executive with close to 25 years of experience in the language services industry. He was the founder and managing director of Ccaps Translation and Localization, a company that supported the language needs of global brands in Latin America, until the merger with OXO. As an ambassador for the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA), Fabiano kicked off the Gender Equality in the Language Services Industry project, which led to his being invited to join the Women in Localization Advisory Board. He has also served as chairman for GALA and Milengo Inc., and was the cocreator of Think Latin America, an event series designed to educate investors about Latin America as a business region.


Sedic Ampanas CohnReznick LLP  Sedic is a principal with CohnReznick’s Transactional Advisory Services Practice. For more than two decades, Sedic’s areas of focus primarily relates to buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence services, transaction structuring, and deal negotiation support, including assessment of quality of earnings, identification of non-recurring items to earnings, analysis of working capital, and performance of other deal-specific procedures. Sedic leads financial due diligence engagements related to both corporate and private equity clients’ acquisitions in various industries, with a primary focus on middle market transactions.   Sedic is a CPA and member of AICPA.


Chuck Tidman is a partner at Bowditch & Dewey, a Massachusetts-based law firm that is well-known and respected for its expertise and experience in a broad range of legal matters.  Chuck’s practice focuses on corporate law, which includes his service as counsel to many mid-sized companies and his representation of buyers and sellers in transactions involving the purchase or sale of company assets or stock.  Clients appreciate his years of experience and practical approach to problem-solving and his advice and guidance as they sort through difficult decisions involving their businesses.



Kimon Fountoukidis is Chairman and Founder of Argos Multilingual, a mid-sized language service provider (LSP) with its global headquarters in Krakow, Poland and its US headquarters in Boulder, Colorado. Kimon has led two successful acquisitions of US-based LSPs and is a strong believer in M&A as a powerful growth tool available to all LSPs. Kimon was born in New York and moved to Krakow in 1993 where he currently lives. A podcast of Kimon’s story can be found here:



Florian Faes is the Managing Director of Slator, a business media and advisory firm for the global language industry he co-founded in 2015. Prior to Slator, Florian spent nearly a decade in Asia, heading regional operations for a Swiss headquartered language service provider. Florian is the co-host of the SlatorPod podcast and publisher of, a job board for the translation and localization industry. Florian likes to spend time on Switzerland’s slopes and mountain trails.


Dee Johnson is a Globalization Matchmaker for Language Transactions, LLC.  They have completed over fifteen M&A deals in the language industry in the past several years.  Dee focuses on Europe and Canada for LT.  Prior to working for LT, she was Director of Strategic Business Development for SDL in Germany for over 5 years with a focus on life science, renewable energies, automation. She also has experience in Mergers & Acquisitions having worked three years in the M&A division of Mercedes Benz.  She has a huge global and active network in the localization industry, although currently more buyers than sellers ????. She offers guidance throughout the acquisition process on either side.
